Special Students are those who wish to attend BİLGİ for either one semester or a full academic year without enrolling in any degree programme. In order to be a Special Student at BİLGİ, this university and the applicant's home institution must have signed an agreement of mutual recognition.

Special Students (Visiting Students) pay their tuition or fees to İstanbul Bilgi University.
